Neighbor called to tell me that the other neighbor called him to say my field along the road was on fire. Said that there were several fires over the weekend in VB county. Anyone know how many?

Heard that there were 3 other calls around the county that Bonaparte FD responded at places not doing controlled burns. I guess there were multiple people doing that as well. Doesn't bother me at all except it went through a couple places where trees were planted last year, I'll be up next weekend and can take a look. Trees still had some bare earth around where the planter split the ground so if it wasn't too hot, I hope they make it.

Our department responded to one grass fire this weekend. I saw a lot of people burning though. I even did a little controlled burn myself this weekend. Hope your trees were spared. That could get scary!
