Until this year I've never had the opportunity to kill a coyote from the stand. First one I killed last weekend setting up for my evening hunt and had deer run by me at about 5 yards... I looked up and there was a coyote running down a fallen, dead tree. I lucked out and left my coat lying on the ground so was able to quietly step off the climbing stick grab my bow and range finder and let one fly from 64 yards.
The next one was running with a buddy and had I known I may have had a chance at a double but I dropped this one in his tracks as well!
