I shoot a Hoyt ProTec. If you shoot fingers and feathers, I can offer a suggestion.

I shot my old Hoyt Raptor EXcel with fingers,but I am going to convert to Release with this new Protec. I hope I am making the right decision.

I shoot a Vortec which is very similar to the Protec. If you are switching to a release aid, you can't go wrong with NAP's Quiktune 3000 for user friendliness and durability. I personally just switched to Trophy Taker drop-away rest and love it, though it's a bit scary at first. Good luck!
