New Personal-Best Muskie 53 3/4

Wow, what a late summer trip up to Vermilion. We saw a few fish, but hardly anything was working. My dad went along but the muskies just wouldn't cooperate.

The final night, I went out night fishing with a buddy as dad cashed in back at the cabin.

I stopped my bait 12 inches from the end of my rod tip and began to turn into the figure 8 when this giant girl T-Boned the Cowgirl..... the fight erupted and ended as she made it into the bottom of the Frabill....

This is my personal best fish, and I bet I have a hard time beating it!

53 3/4" X 22"

I love these things..... Might be headed back up there in October.... I can't help myself....

I've been to Vermillion a time or two as a friend's family owns a marina up there: http://www.shamrock-marina.com/index.html Never caught a musky but then again wasn't really fishing for them. Concentrated more on walleye and northern.
