First fall food plot, would you plant buck forage oats or shot plot, or what would you suggest for a acre or two?

My 2 cents- BFO are over-rated. Winter wheat, rye, brassicas are hard to beat for a fall plot.

I agree and depending on what mix of brassicas one plants, you can interseed rye into it much as you would soybeans.
Rape and turnips can be planted July and August and then rye broadcast over the growing brassicas in late Aug./early Sept. depending on rain. One can plant several completely seperate plots also. I'd like to see comparison plots of rye and wheat where one could observe them while hunting or with a trail cam. I've always prefered rye but I know many also plant wheat. Rye is ceratinly cheaper!
