pulled 16 cards in 3 different southeastern counties I would guess at the highest 10 percent have totally shed. Did pick up two real fresh drops that we spotted from the road. I'm going to hold off until second week in Feb unless trail cameras tell me something different.

I too would say something around 10% on my place. I only had pics of one shed buck from 1/12 to 1/19 and my son found one fresh antler on the 12th. I suspect he found one of the sides from that shed buck and the match is out there on the ground yet, but that may well be about it for now.

I would say 20-25% on the herd I'm watching SE of Twin Cities.

On our own farm I would say 10% have dropped. The bucks on our farm are really grouped up. The buddy system. Where ever an older buck goes the posi will be following.
For some reason on our farm they drop late?? Good food-less pressure-maby a few does are'nt bred later in the season?? I don't know but I like it. It gives me time to walk other farms and let our bucks shed out.
Other farms I have been walking I haven't seen any bucks but from what the farmers and landowners are telling me I would say 20% have dropped.

Everything I've gotten pics of (which isn't much) is still holding both sides. Jumped 3 bucks still carrying both sides Saturday afternoon while walking back to hang a cam by some hackberry's I had just hinged on Wednesday. I was praying an antler would fall off as they were running away.

My rule of thumb year to year is this...

    20 percent drop January
    60 percent drop February
    20 percent drop March

Not sure on a %, but was out in the woods on Sunday. Had two younger bucks come towards me in the timber and both stopped. The one got spooked and took off bumping racks with the other one. Neither antler came off (was hoping for an easy shed!) As hard as they hit, if either was close to falling they would have been on the ground.

Hahahaha! Agreed! & I'd also agree with Ghost on his percentages although I might add a small fraction to December and possibly even April.

Around here I'm seeing the majority of bucks still holding. I'd say maybe 10% have dropped.

In my area it varies from farm to farm. On one farm I'd say 60% have dropped (I was seeing several half racks a night even before christmas) on another maybe 10% at the most. As a whole in my area though I'd say about 25% have dropped.
