I have a clay/sand soil around my pond. You can see in the pic where I brought it a load of horse manure. My question tho, which one would be best to plant in the not so good soil, I have clover, rye, and turnips.

Rye will grow in the poorest soil of the 3 you list . i would throw down some pellatized lime and some 19-19-19 fert and it will grow !

Thanks. That’s what I have the most of. Think I’m going to try to get some more horse manure brought it too, to mix in.
