I've been wanting to try some decoying for the past couple years. To many things to buy besides another toy.
Question is will the McKenzie Aim-Rite deer target I have work or is it wishful thinking? I would'nt try it until the breeding period hits.
I have bowhunted for 36 years and about 25 or 30 years ago a old bowhunter told me to tie a white handkerchief in a tree on the other side of your stand a way from the run and I have tryed it a few times and it works like a decoy. I have bucks see it and stand under my stand looking at it and not looking around so I could get a shot and I also have had them see it from a long way off and come right up to me for a shot. One thing that it dose is to get the buck looking at it and not looking around and seeing you in your stand. It works try it some time
