SF 278 passed the Senate complete with the provision for nonresident landowners. I now faces a fight in the House. The house has a similar DNR funding bill they're working on but makes no mention of nonresident landowners. I am told the this provision will have a tough time in the House. You can look up both bills from this page. The House file is 565.
