Well its time to end another great shed hunting season!
I don't have any Sponsors to thank but I do want to thank all the Landowners and Farmers for letting me walk there farms, and I want to thank my very understanding wife. She is amazing and I am very greatful she understands my passion for this disease! LOL For 2 1/2 months every otherday walking farms. The days I'm not shedhunting I'm with our 8 month old beautiful baby girl.
Its been greening up fast and it gets warm fast seems like everything is jumping out and scratching or poking me.
I got the call today and Wednesday I am heading back to work I am looking very forward to it. Lots of long days but hope I'm not on the road to much.
I found 58 last year and found 62 this season. I don't really care about numbers or size of the sheds I just like looking and finding sheds just like everyone else, and if a big match set is found its just a bonus. Allready planning trips for next year and it looks like I will be heading to Saskatchewan April of 2013. I can't wait.
Anyways hope everyone else had a blast this year and good luck if your still looking!
If I do stumble upon one I will post otherwise thanks for all the comments and thanks for tagging along.
    Bill or 'Sheddogger'

Just curious if the snakes 'mainly timber rattlers', are bad in Southern Iowa as they are in Northeast Iowa? Planning in two weeks on swinging by some of the farms I shedhunt and walk a few. Thought maby find a few that dropped late.

X2, I've heard about people running into them in the Loess Hills but not south of that really.

Thanks guys. Quite a few years ago late in April I walked upon a pile I mean more like a million snakes. I stopped and they were all around me under my boots EveryWere! I stood there and a friend of mine came up the hill side and almost fainted he couldn't believe what I had walked into. To good of a south facing hillside to walk by. Good thing they were bull snakes.
