Has anyone used simazine post-emergence on corn? The label says don't apply post-emerge with a foliar fertilizer, and I'm not going to do that. It would seem to me that since it doesn't have an effect on growing weeds it wouldn't affect the growing corn. We've got a pigweed issue and planned to handle it this year with the simazine and continue with RR corn/soybeans.
Be no issue at all!!! Simazine works great. Trust me though!!!!!...... run generic Mesotrione. Your weed control will be SUBSTANTIALLY BETTER!!!! Mesotrione & metolachlor with simazine- game over. All generics that, per acre, are not expensive & will save so much time & $ on weed control - I would never go without em. But yes, simazine is just fine in corn. No issue at all.
