Spruce and oak spacing

I planted 2 rows of Norway spruce seedlings this past spring in my field. I want to add a row of red oak or pin oak ( faster growing oak) what would be the optimal spacing between the spruce and the oak giving each room to grow

I would say 12-14 feet to be safe.

Norway Spruce are huge when mature
