Switch grass?

I’m tempted to delete this thread not being in dbltree section!!! ;). Kidding!!!
Above is right.... fall kill is the solution. I HATE to give anyone ideas BUT..... there is one way around this..... “kids, don’t try this at home”.....
Again- FALL KILL IS BEST, BY FAR!!!..... BUT..... switch germinates the latest of any native grass seed. CIR is later even for switch varieties. We are talking sometimes late JUNE in some cases. With that said.... a guy COULD start hammering away with multiple spraying of posts & pres all spring into late May or even later possibly. Is this a pain? YES. Is it expensive? YES/KINDA.
A lot of ways to do this IF u had to.... a guy theoretically could put atrazine in every spraying (if legal limit wasn’t 2.2 - u could do a LOT) & do 3 sprayings. Since ur looking to NUKE it..... EXAMPLES would be,

1st spray (as much as u can handle for categories of killing vegetation post emergent): Gly 3-4 qts/acre, crop oil, ams, atrazine & any of following: 2,4-d, lighter dual II, plateau at 2-3 oz/acre, etc.

2nd spraying: gly 3-4 qts or LIBERTY 40 oz, crop oil, ams, Atrazine

3rd spraying: make darn sure no switch germination!!!!...... gly 3-4 qts or liberty 40 oz, atrazine.

Done. MOW ONE TIME IF NEEDED - approx early August. This would work in most cases. More Expensive & more sprayings at higher rates. Could add clethodim to those sprayings as well to combat cool seasons and I would. This is back up option. Worst case- fall spraying when warm seasons dormant a few months later. Reseed. Again- fall kill better so maybe forget any of above. :)
