It's a fact, Some areas of the trout opener are packed shoulder to shoulder so they want to play it safe. I never go to these easy access areas, either I wait until the next day or go to my secret childhood spot that I usually have all to myself.
I love fishing for bass most of all but for the past several years you are not allowed to keep them in the main rivers due to pollution from the fracking boom, sucks....
