Thunderstorm

It has been a busy start to my hunting season. I have been trying to get my brother in laws house ready so he can move in, building a "death room" on my house, work, gym and being a dad. That being said this last weekend was the first time out for me. Friday night I saw several deer out and about, but nothing worth shooting. Saturday morning I sat from before sun up until 11 and only saw one doe. Saturday night it was storming and people said I was wasting my time. The 100 mph wind was in the right direction until about 6 when it shifted and blow out of the north. I was packing up because the wind was totally wrong for this stand. I stood up to lower my own when I saw a young eight and and another buck. The 8 came may way and the nicer one went the other way. The 8 worked a scrape for a minute and the bigger buck decided he would come help. After the bigger one worked it for a short minute he stepped out into the hay field. The rest is history!!!! 12 hours of hunting and I am tagged out!!!! My top 4 bucks have come in windy, crappy weather, so when someone says the weather is too crappy, get out there!
