Too late for blind?

I just bought a muddy gunner blind. I have a 1 acre turnip plot that I plan to hunt the 1st weekend of 2nd shotgun season. Do you think it would be too late to put it up and make the bucks a little skittish? I can get away with brushing a pop up ground blind and making it disappear into a cedar tree. Which route would you go?

All our blinds are on running gear and I've moved the blind to a field at noon and shot deer out of it that afternoon lots of times. Dont worry about it.
