Does anyone know if you can replace the trigger mechanism on a tru-ball release? I snagged mine on a tree step and broke it off about half-way down the trigger. Thanks for the input.

I am pretty sure you could send it in and they will fix it for nothing. Check with the place that you purchased it from and they may even give you a loner.

bighole,
You may want to tuck your release into the cuff of your jacket sleeve prior to climbing. Cuts back on metal to metal noise and broken releases while climbing. Just my 2 cents.Good luck fixing it!

What do they say, "hind-sight is 20-20".
Tru-Ball is sending me a knew trigger, hopefully I will have it today and get it replaced tonight. I just hope I don't make matters worse when I take the release apart.

You can usually pick this model of release up for a song, might be a good idea to have a spare. I know a couple of times I forgot the release in my bow case and the one in my fanny pack sure has come in handy.
