When is the best time to use your decoy

Looking for what everyones thoughts are on when to start using your decoy's?

I like using them Nov 3rd - 15th. Decoys seem to be by preference and some hunters can't stand to use them. I have had some really nice deer come into my decoy around that time though. Earlier and later I have had deer spook when they see it, even in a more open area. One thing about them is they can be a blast when hunting. Decoys can be crazy entertaining when you are sitting in a stand all day! I have even contemplated shooting my decoy when I had not seen any deer all day and bored out of my mind. I didn't though. I use a primos scarface decoy. Have used the flat cardboard ones in the past but when deer come around them they have not been as effective for me.

My last 4 bucks have all been shot with the aid of a decoy. I truly enjoy watching deer interact with it, even if it's not a deer I plan to shoot. I start using them around Halloween.

Same here ^^. They don't always work, but they can be pretty entertaining when they do.
