I would say an inside spread of 23" or greater.

Inside spread over 20 in. and outside over 22 in my opinion

I think a buck with a 20" inside spread is great, no matter what the outside spread is.

I would agree with Madison, anything over "20 on a inside spread would be wide for a whitetail...not too many of those boys running around.

I would have to agree with 20" also. Between my dad, cousin and myself I think we have 6 bucks between 17 1/2" and 19 1/2". My cousin finally broke 20" this year with a 21" 9 point. It seems to be pretty hard to find'em any wider than that.

20 inch inside will put most about 2-3 inches beyond the ears....I don't get too concerned with spread, personally, I'd rather have height, mass, or an abnormal rack ....
