    Wrecked My Jeep - Check

    Living the dream! You should get a Glock 20 for bear protection. 10mm, easy to shoot, half the weight, cheap accessories everywhere and 15 +1 rounds instead of 6.

    That’s good idea! I’ve got Springfield XDM .40 & wonder if that be enough? I think they make +P ammo with a lot of knock down. Still be a step up from the guy who lived after killed a grizzly in Alaska with a pocket knife & lived. ;)

    Nope, because you have to pass the class, find a day that our auditor is available to watch you fill out the paperwork (that's the way our county does it), finish the paper work in front of her, have her send that paper to the sheriff, get the sheriff to sign, the paperwork goes to Des Moines and then wait 60+ days to get approved and back to you.

    I'm in Oregon, I couldn't have waited that long and won't have to opportunity to go back for a while to get it.
