I would consider hunting one Fall before making big decisions/changes. I learned so much about the deer movement and where they liked to be by sitting in the tree that first year on my farm. A lot of the patterns I learned were different than what I had expected. Although I'm still learning and...
ERC overall best screen option. Hybrid willow is the fastest. Together you get a quick starter and a nearly lifelong finisher. A couple rows of each. ~5' spacing. Also my favorite shrub option(s): nanny berry, Lilac, HBCranberry. Good luck
Excited about all the new cam options, just not about spending more than $100 d/t the number of cameras I try to run.
Covert are my favorite for price and pic quality. Batteries last forever too. Better than my previous Bushnell, Stealth, and Hunten
Hunted southeastern Iowa Tuesday Jan 5th for first time since Thanksgiving. Had 14 deer in field feeding. One deer (no rack) would not put any weight on back right leg. Also a two year old buck had limp but would bear weight on back right leg.

The picture shows what could be poke/pig weed.

I will keep the oust off the nanny berry's this fall, thx.
I planted 12" red cedars and nannyberry shrubs in April. They look great thanks to help from this site. I prepped with OustXP in early spring. The surrounding grass was nuked. The picture shows what I found covering the majority of my plantings. How do I kill? I will use Oust and gly this...
