It has been a long journey for my wife and I.
We bought some ground in Davis county about 10 years ago. We started construction on a pole barn house with a connected shop about a year ago. My wife and I moved up here October 1, 2018. We worked on our house all winter and this spring while we lived in our camper.
We are now living in the house. My wife was born and raised in Cedar Rapids. She has a lot of family in Iowa. I was born and raised in Texas. We were tired of the big city and decided to sellout and build here in Iowa.
It has been fun, it has been challenging, it has been stressful, but it has been worth it all. We love it here !!!
