1. Are there any legal issues with planting bin run soybeans for strictly food plots. Beans would never be harvested or sold.

2. Anyone have experience doing it? Success, failure?

Appreciate the boards thoughts.

The tech agreement that the grower signed states they may not be planted for any purpose.
Shouldn't be a big deal on a small scale. Probably wouldn't post it. As far as working it will work straight from the bin but if you are drilling up the rates about 30 percent. If through a planter then would recommend having it cleaned. Hope this helps.

Hans has it right....beleive it or not Roundup Ready crops cannot be legally planted for food plots...and bin run is a violation on top of that...WHY ?? Because Monsanto, DuPont and others spend tens of millions of dollars on developing products that benefit both the farmer and the company that " invents" the technology .....I personally don't see a problem when, on a small scale, you plant and don't harvest......but, technically, it's not allowed .
