dead deer

I found a small dead buck tonight on the way home from my stand. No roads anywhere close and could not find any blood or a hole where it was shot. Is it possible that EHD will kill a deer this late in the year? He didnt look like he had been dead more than a few days or a week.

We found a small buck dead last year that appeared to be killed in fight. Was his neck broke? You would be surprised how hard even the smaller bucks go at it.

I didnt think about that. I didnt notice that it was but maybe. I just flipped him over lookin for blood and a hole.
