New tree stand hanging day.

Have watched Lotta good bucks go by this big burr oak over the past 30 years.
It's right on the very top of the riverbank. Super steep right behind the tree..
Been wanting to put a stand in it for years but would require lots of work getting a ladderstand in there. Very thick pricklyash/buckthorn.
Today is THE DAY!.
Nice n cool, no wind.
Started early and am making progress.
Pics to follow.

I'm whooped.
That stand is 17' and welded so had to drag it whole.
Bout blew out my nuts tipping it upright.
Now I finally have a big comfy stand that I can sit for hours in.
South/west/nw winds will blow across the river.
Lotta work but I'm SUPER excited about it.
Nap time.

I feel your pain, I put quite a few ladder stands up like that by myself!

You'll need to edit your pics to resize them to post. If they're on a computer just right click on an image and select edit on the menu, it should bring up "Paint" where you can click on resize. I usually resize them by 40 to 50 %, in both fields and click the save icon.

Good luck!! Guys who are scouting & hanging now…. Often the folks that connect with the bigguns come fall. Next years deer season is being made right now. Hope you connect with a biggun this year but sounds like it’ll be a great spot year after year.

So- from phone or iPad - say an iPhone- at bottom it says “show attachment” or something. Pick medium size. It’s easy. Holler if need help. Get it? Also apps that can shrink large photos.

I'm on quite a few hunting/trapping forums and don't have a problem posting pics.
Is it a problem on this site to just make it easier like the others?
I don't see any option to resize my pics?
