the last two buck seem to have the same gentics both have split g3's, what do you think?

Great pics Doug...for what its worth I think your target buck is young..3.5...Good luck with him.

thread, your target buck is a dandy, but i think he's only 3 1/2 years old. hard to pass on this one, but just think what he could be at 5 1/2.

Do you have any history with the target buck? I was thinking young simply based on his body size but I've been wrong many times before. Thanks for sharing!!

Like Mike said he's probably too smart for you so I would go for the little one, you should be able to kill him by Thanksgiving. ;) Nice pics Doug.

I have checked through all my deer cam pics from the last few years and havent found any pics that look similar to him

The area im in is surrounded by hunters so if he walked by this year he will get an arrow, it would be awesome to see him at 30 yards next year!!!

if I had to guess your target buck is an AWESOME 3.5 year old and one right after him is a 2.5 year old that will look like (this years target) next year. Look at how the right main beams kind of crab claw on both bucks...they obviously come from the same gene pool.

Good up and comers, but if you could hold off you might be rewarded more handsomely...I'd venture to guess there is at least one buck bigger than those in your neighborhood (if not more)

I deal with the same pressure and letting them walk, only to find out someone else shot them can be very demoralizing...but sometimes you just got to do it. That said though, if he makes you happy than stick him! Don't just stick him because you think the neighbors will.

Can't kill a booner if you shoot a 140 incher!
