Snow Bird

I left the blind out last night so wouldn’t have to set it up in the snow and nothing was seen last night. This morning the toms were really gobbling good till 9:00.

I seen a few in the bottoms and around 9:30 a three pack of longbeards came over the hill a good quarter mile away and two dirty Jakes were flanking the three. I made a short call and the three came running in on a string.
This year the Tactacam is on a flexible arm but I knew filming might not work the best.
When they came in I couldn’t get the bow drawnand they must of seen Ishi wrestling a basketball trying to get the bow drawn!
They got spooky but I singled one out and made the shot 15-20 yards or so. First time I’ve had a Bullhead shot turkey run away. He went over the hill and seen his wings flapping so one is tagged.

The Bullhead clipped him good

I tried the hero shot with the Tactacam which has a camera mode but I had it on video so I saved a screenshot...... tough morning it was.

Not the best video but enough is there for my personal library.

As always very blessed and very thankful!!

Nice! It's not every day that you have "tracking snow" for a bowshot turkey. Good going!
