Unfrozen water sources in late season

The Silence

Here in Iowa where I hunt we've had some warmer weather lately with no snow cover. Since a lot of the vegetation/browse would seem to have a lower moisture content do you guys think that unfrozen water sources could really be a magnet for the big boys?

In SE MN and SW WI late season water has not been a big draw even in times of no snow cover. Just my experience

FWIW, I have never seen anything that makes me think that deer would be attracted to a water source at this time of the year. The only time that I have ever felt that water has made any type of difference in their habits and movements is in extreme drought, in the summer time. That doesn't mean it wouldn't work though, that is just my observation.
