Thectail looks like a mountain lion to me.

Too short of a tail, proportionally, to be a mountain lion. Canine.

I've seen a mountain lion out west and I've actually had the chance to get my pic taken with a couple of harvested ones. That tail is definitely not a cat. It looks like a coyote to me. Jut my two cents.
