Been a few year's since we have been able to attend, Looking very forward to getting back to Iowa- Just wandering how many of you guy's will be there?

Not a chance. I went last year and that was probably be the last time I will go in a long time. Too many rude, obnoxious, people in a small space.

Yep going again this yr on a friday tho. Sat have meetings and sunday got my nephews wrestling meets to watch.

Probably will never go again. They cram way to many booths in that place. You walk shoulder to shoulder with everyone there and anything worth seeing you can't get to. Waste of time in my opinion.

No, they're not talking about shotgun season. It's an outdoor show dedicated to deer
:D

Nope. Not looking for an outfitter or to support "The Industry". Maybe if there were more booths of stuff like hand made knives, turkey calls, traditional archery equipment, and if I didn't hate large crowds. Anyone know of show with something other than big box stores and rude people. I might go to it.

You probably went on Saturday. Try going Sunday instead.

What?

You don't want to wait in a long line of "fanboys" hoping to get a picture with those who are profiting and exploiting Iowa's natural resources?

I must admit, seeing the people wait in "those lines" was quite comical to me.

I will be there again at the Hunt Of A Lifetime booth (display booth #4 across from The Crush and Brackett.) After setting up for a couple years I can tell you Friday and Sunday are great times to go. Still quite a few people, but you would be able to stop at a booth without feeling like you're getting herded along with the crowd.
