Confused where to sit.

OK so i hunt some public ground that gets absolutely no traffic other than I and my grandparents grandson. So after an all afternoon sit yesterday on my normal point I didn't see anything. Now that's because they all came to the cut corn on the opposite point that I can see clearly from my spot. So tonight I chose to walk the cut cornfield all the way to the other point until I stopped when I heard a deer take off, so I setup right there on a tree bordering the field. Now again this proved to be a mistake as they came out dead smack to the left of the point... I first spotted a nice 10 but no shot due to distance and a tree. I tried calling to no prevail and he just stood there. Next I seen more of him and then a doe that's where I made the mistake of calling because the doe took off and blew me without even seeing me. Now this point is hard to get to quietly as you have to walk almost 6 blocks through cut corn to get to. Now how should I go about getting to that point and still get it done? 1: walk in earlier say noon and sit all evening.. 2: Ride a ATV and get close to the point quicker note I would have to park in the field as this is public land but borders our private cornfield. 3: Give up on that spot and just sit the other point and wait to see if they move through to the other side. I know they are bedding on that other point......

You're really showing yourself pretty badly walking across that open field. Any way to access along that cut drive from the South? That looks like the most inconspicuous way to get there. I'd even go as far as having someone run you around onto hwy 29. Jump out of the car directly east of that spot.

Only access is the field. There is a Creek that runs through.

Gotcha. That Creek is to big to wade across? I don't know the exact lay of the land, but it just looks like walking in across that cornfield would be about the worst possible way to go. If the creek is too big for boots or waders, can you take a kayak or canoe to cross it?
 
Can you drive the 4 wheeler to what looks like the far south end of the field as possible and then make your way along the creek to your stand?

Never really checked out the creek. After the river flood its impossible to even get within the vicinity of the creek due to massive amounts of downed treed and thick milkweed. . . . That's why we are limited to the outside. . . . .
