Economical Tractor/UTV GPS Tracking System

There is a thread about this over in a spray dye section so thought I would start one here where it is more clear of the topic. Does anybody have any recommendations for an economical GPS tracking system for tractors/UTV's? Looking for something that I can use with a boom sprayer. I see Amazon has kits for $420ish but not much for reviews. I don't need perfect precision just need something that is simple and reasonably accurate. If equipment in this price point works reasonably well I am very interested in getting one. Appreciate any guidance or lessons learned.

I use the Tracker feature on OnX. Close enough for government work.

I read the reviews for "tractor gps" that you can get on your phone via the play store. The reviews were really good, and I think I might try it.

Works just fine for me. You get your error ellipse which is usually 3-4 meters depending on how many satellites connected.

I wonder how people sprayed before GPS.

Hmmm, some must have never sprayed with out GPS.

You can find your error ellipse pretty easy...keeps you in a straight line and one can zoom in enough and measure distance.
Not near accurate for many herbicides. Spraying gly and overlaps don't matter.... sure go for it.

Sprayed for many many years without GPS. Wasted a ton of chemical and money doing it.

I use a T Jet Matrix. It's one of the cheaper options with a Glo NAS antenna. I tried a ton of apps but the device antenna is the limiting factor

If you aren't doing it for profit isn't it all a waste? I mean a guy could go buy the sprayer with A.I. and get down to the plant and not spray where it isnt needed if he really wants to save chemical. I can waste a lot of spray on a 4 wheeler for what a tractor and GPS system cost. Just depends where you want to waste ones money.

On our big fields we just measure it out by the rows. And put flags out. Seems to work but what does a 78 yr old know.
