In need of experienced trapper

Looking for someone that has experience with trapping raccoons and coyotes. Waging war on a contiguous multiple thousands acres farm. Not looking for thermal gun setups for specific reasons irregardless of their proven efficiency.
Farm is located in the SC area of the state. Please PM me if interested and more details
or have a good lead on someone I can contact.

t think trapping season just closed last week. You could trap coons still on your own land or as an "agent" for the landowner I think.

Coyote trapping is a continuous open season, bobcat ends February 28th, raccoon on private property is continuous open season and ends on February 28th for public land.

Coyote trapping season runs through February. It is not continuously open.
Raccoon is continuously open on private land.

I’d volunteer if you were closer. Maybe next fall when I have more PTO and can try to work something out with friends to stay down south somewhere for like a week.

New to the trapping game, make it make sense to me; why you can hunt coyotes after the 28th but you can’t trap them after the 28th? Is it because of non target species like bobcats or foxes having potential to get caught too? Seems odd since they allow coons to be trapped year round private now…………

Yeah, it's because of non target species. I don't know about the raccoon thing and why that's allowed.

They probably allow coons to still be trapped because they only allow dog proof and cage/live traps for coons on private after the 28th.. Dog proof traps sure aren’t cat proof tho so it still doesn’t make a lot of sense. I’ve caught plenty of regular cats so I’d think u could still catch a small bobcat with them.
