Nitrogen Fertilizer For A Small Corn Plot?

What are you all using for Nitrogen for Corn, this is for a smaller plot, maybe 3 acres max.

Could use Urea but it seems that the application needs to be timed for rain in order to avoid evaporation loss?

I am wondering if there is a source for stabilized Nitrogen that would come in a bag?

1st year for me for planting corn, so Im lost here on this.....

Thank you

Best practice is a soil test.

Short of that this is a good baseline per acre.

MAP: 145 lb
Potash: 80 lbs
Urea: 250 lbs

Have the urea treated at co op of not confident in rain.

U can spray urea with a few products i could post if anyone ever wanted to. So doesnt evaporate.
If u can add to above… run 100 lbs of gypsum as well. Covers sulfur & calcium. Everyone on here will be sulfur deficient.
I also run boron & zinc. Most coops have all this.

Ammonium Sulfate AMS (Fertilizer) is a great source of N and S both at 21-0-0-24S (21% nitrogen and 24% sulfur).

Most stable form of N out there. Will not leach into atmosphere, no coating required.

I get mine from a local co-op, they'll put the bagger on and get a smaller amount for me if I call a few days in advance.

DAP (18-46-0) is also good if low on P.
