    You will for sure loose some over that time, some years it is more, some less. We figure that in 8 weeks all the N will be atleast 6 in down if not further. You will loose Urea into the air and below the root zone.

    It is hard to say, I have not done a proper survey. The only time I've been in the main block of trees was last December before we purchased the property. Once we were the proud owners the timber became a 17+- acre refuge. No humans for any reason unless you shoot a deer and it runs in there...

    Switchgrass

    It depends on what you have competing with your switch grass. If it were mine I would try to kill the competition with either herbicide or burn and re-seed switch to fill in the bad areas.
