    CRP Mowing

    Wouldn't expect to see much topside growth from a month old WSG planting, they will grow root system first. As far as the "weeds" go, most are probably beneficial to the wildlife as food , nesting and brood rearing.

    Not sure why you would need to spray, if you are converting an ag field to Cp2 and there isn't any cool season grass to deal with? "weeds" are part of the equation when establishing WSG's, and many are very beneficial to wildlife. I wouldn't be concerned the first year of your planting, going...

    Drop seeder?

    I don't know if a drop seeder will work on WSG fluff seed, it would for switchgrass. I bought a Truax "Seed Slinger" broadcast seeder for my atv, it has augers for the fluff seed mix in the main bin and a separate compartment for hard seed. I did 116 acre dormant seeding with it 4 years...

    Looking for a new farm times running out

    look at SULLIVAN AUCTIONS, there is 2 coming up for sale in DAVIS COUNTY on Feb 27th and 28th, they border each other, could get around 400 acres in both tracts.
