Thanks jj
Pretty good numbers in that area"compared to mine"
Would be interesting to know how many bucks are killed.
Still think some of the fence areas should be monitored.
We have an old farm house next section over from us.
Usually what happens new renters move in ,have dogs since it's the country
No kennel, chains.not enough money for dog food.dogs end up roaming
For road kills.i cannot believe the effects of a few dogs running deer in my
Area.just...
I wonder if the pen raised deer and elk herds were tested in allamakee
County. We moved to allamakee county to retire, deer, trout,Mississippi
River. Turkey hunting. Pretty disappointed how the deer herd has declined
The past few years.southern end mainly.
Jumps
Thru out the years have seen many 150 type bucks on which I said
Next year.many never made it out of the 150s even though they were
6.5- 7.5. Also some of the bucks with biggest sheds that we found
Were smaller when taken.

hunt it with the right wind. if you dont get him by sat get some cameras out
or observe long range to see when he sheds to make sure the squirrels or trespassers don't get his sheds.
good luck
crossbows for the disabled ,maybe elderly say 60 years old.
the problem I see it is we are are own worst enemy, bowhunters buying
extra doe tags, gun groups pounding the small bucks, year after year.
I dont think we will rebound in our area.just to much pressure.

saw 6 different bucks rub the same cedar tree this year.tree about 6-8 inches
4-1.5 1-2.5 1- 3.5. not many cedars in this section and they go out of their
way to hit it. I wouldn't be surprised if 15 different bucks rubbed it this year
being an old $%@stard,I can remember when the compound came out
many of the things being said now ,were said then.
talk about new technology bringing more hunters, the compound sure did it.
