Very wet down in middle Georgia after a very dry April. We have had over 3” in the last week and half. It’s raining now with more on the way tonight and tomorrow
Praying for rain here, just as soon as the hay is baled
I would think the amount of rain locally says it should be a bad year for EHD, but I know of a leaking pond that will have a mud bank if it stops raining.I would think this would mean less likely to have bad EHD ??
Im not convinced there is a meaningful correlation to rain and ehd. I used to think so. I've changed my mind.I would think this would mean less likely to have bad EHD ??
Fall droughts seem to spell disaster for me. Maybe the heat makes it more deadly in those conditions? All my bad outbreaks have coincided with a hot dry early fall.Im not convinced there is a meaningful correlation to rain and ehd. I used to think so. I've changed my mind.
I certainly hope so. Hopefully August and September turn out okay.I would think the amount of rain locally says it should be a bad year for EHD, but I know of a leaking pond that will have a mud bank if it stops raining.
Soil sucked it inGot another 3/10 middle of the night.
Gonna plant brassicas soon and since they are saying another inch tonight, I spread about 100lbs of urea over bout 3/4 acres 2 hours ago Ground was Purdy white.
Just went out to spot spray some missed weeds and the urea is Gone?
Ground is black. Did the moist soil dissolve it that fast and soak it in?
Or did it volatile that fast?
