How much rain ? ☔️

Very wet down in middle Georgia after a very dry April. We have had over 3” in the last week and half. It’s raining now with more on the way tonight and tomorrow

I’m about ready to say enough for now. But down here, you’re only ever a couple of weeks away from a drought.

I think we are up to 7-8 inches of rain in the past two weeks in Western MN.

I would think the amount of rain locally says it should be a bad year for EHD, but I know of a leaking pond that will have a mud bank if it stops raining.

Im not convinced there is a meaningful correlation to rain and ehd. I used to think so. I've changed my mind.

Fall droughts seem to spell disaster for me. Maybe the heat makes it more deadly in those conditions? All my bad outbreaks have coincided with a hot dry early fall.
