Like I said if spraying things like gly doesn't matter besides the money. Other stuff with much lower application rate per acre amd perhaps residual affects it is extremely important.
Not near accurate for many herbicides. Spraying gly and overlaps don't matter.... sure go for it.
Sprayed for many many years without GPS. Wasted a ton of chemical and money doing it.
I think some of the most creative things i've done have involved making great access. I had farm that was a borderline cliff to get to a bottom on one side. I strung a climbing rope top to bottom to access a blind. Deer were NOT going to get behind you and you couldn't climb it without a rope...
only reason it would be useful is to plant a small seed AND a larger seed in the same pass (ie clover and rye). Otherwise, the main box plants small seeds extremely well.
Good luck. Grew up with cedar decks and built a large one on my current house. I honestly prefer to just let them go and power washer and wood brightner every couple years. Better than reapplying stain biyearly.
