Guys here drive around and have for ever with guns on their dash- did all during shotgun for years.

Not to sound real stupid- but why did carry permits allow loaded and uncased guns during hunting seasons? I feel like everyone is going to use the 2a argument- but again- it’s hunting season and regulations.

I can think of 11 guys in the 1/2 mile each direction of my place here at my home farm. That’s just what I know of. My Allamakee property, it really jumps up… I don’t think I’m really shocked by the numbers- but I’m used to the guys I guess.

Yeah, after it turned to archery- they were still using guns... I know of several (all that I know anyway) got talked to by the DNR and they dont do it anymore- but it happened right at first... I dont want to argue youth right now either haha

Yes, at first, I know several that were still using guns for youth during archery.. They were all addressed to my knowledge, but people just assumed the tag floated, and they could use a gun during "youth" so the "youth tag" floated... again, common sense- not common anymore

You have to remember- common sense isn’t common…when youth tags went to floating, A LOT of people around here let their kids use guns the entire time…..

Weird, last time I got seed from them I paid no taxes... I did have to tell them it was for a CRP program at the time... I also know they just went some changes here at the first of the year so maybe they are having some issues?

Actually- going back a very long time- LO tags WERE for small acreages because THATS HOW PEOPLE MADE THEIR LIVING. The people doing specialty crops and not having “day jobs + farming” were as concerned. There are still people today doing the same thing- it’s a shame someone can say they guy that...

I believe MN shuts down during deer season too

Went past the neighbors yesterday and didn’t notice- but today went past and they have a 150” type deer laying dead under their bird feeders…. Less than a half mile from my food plots that have 50+ deer a night in… so seems odd

How I heard it- or what I heard Jace said on a podcast it’s hard to tell- hans1 said “a biologist stopped by”… doesn’t mean it’s Jace- and means they likely aren’t talking heavily internally in different areas… Just my opinion

They do peas up in my area heavily in the spring (close to canners)- deer don’t seem to flock to them fwiw. They still prefer the soybeans and alfalfa

I would love to see how the polls would cross over onto the ISC Facebook- I am going to bet the results are opposite for the most part.. I think, we as a group, have a different mindset than MOST of the hunters in Iowa...
