Selling my nearly new axion stabilizer. I bought this for my bow and recently have sold it and it doesn't match my new bows finish (I'm picky like that). It was only mounted to my bow for 1 month and taken out in the woods only twice. It's in perfect cosmetic condition. I would like to see $60...
Ok membership date is due to the fact that I am NEW to the state. And yes I don't post just to rack up my statistics. Thanks anyways to those who posted, but I will just stick to archery talk to get some insight
I know of a lot of people who lease. I'm not looking to stir the pot with other members on this forum but please only respond if you have or know of any lease options for eastern Iowa. This whole bashing and putting others down is the stuff that isn't necessary. If you dont have anything then...
I'm agreeing with you about the amount of these threads but for me being fairly new to Iowa and not owning land here it's a place to start. Door knocking comes next but please don't be offended by all of these posts some people just aren't as fortunate as others to have private land
Thanks everyone for your advice and sharing your own personal experiences. I can't wait to receive my hot shot tempest and try it out. I'm not sure if I like the straight t bar design but we will see. I actually like the swept back design but it was a deal I couldn't pass up
Do you like the amount of travel with the pro diamond? I tried a friend's yesterday and just really couldn't get used to the amount of travel it had. I actually picked up a hotshot temptest 4 finger for $80 brand new, which I thought was a steal, but we will see how it goes
Brian811..thanks for all of the info/advice. I will definitely be looking into the carter insatiable. I know you can't go wrong with a carter but the less bulk the better imo
SEIowa.. did you feel as though the carter addiction was too bulky in your hand. I have read things about this release being great, but a little on the large and bulky side. Just wanted to hear your .02
Thanks guys! I'm looking into either a carter chocolate addiction or the stan shootoff. I just found myself getting very punchy on my trigger when using an index release so I might just have to give a thumb trigger a try.
So over this past year I have been more interested in switching from my wrist strap release to a thumb trigger style release. I have read of many people hunting with them and was just curious if anybody had any insight on this matter. Pros/cons, also if you have any experience with a certain...
I just found out today that my property that I currently leased in muscatine co. has now been sold, so here I sit trying to start all over again. I was just seeing if anyone had property that they would be willing to lease in eastern Iowa, I would only bow hunt the property since all of my gun...
I'm looking to sell my nearly new Tru Ball Max 4 thumb trigger release. It was used as my first release to get me into shooting a thumb trigger. I really do like it, but am upgrading to a stan shootoff so this one needs to go. It's in near perfect condition. Would like to get $75 TYD. PM if...
I have tons of experience with HHA sights being as how I was born and raised in Iwsconsin Rapids, WI (home of HHA). They are best known for the single pin by far, and I personally woudl go with the dial of the slider if you are interested in the single pin option. I actually just switched this...
Hoping to get some insight on peoples thoughts about where I should begin my journey of finding public land. I live in the QCA and would like to hunt within an hour or so. If anyone has any experience with eastern iowa (I'm not asking to give me your hotspots) just asking in general which...
I have a loaded mathews SBXT 28" draw 60#. I've had it since 06' and it has all the bells and whistles. I could send pics or give more information if interested. I would sell for $600. PM if interested
