Thanks! It's one of those things that makes you happy and sad at the same time. Happy that you got him but sad that you won't get to match wits with him anymore. It's pretty humbling to take a deer that you've got so much history with.

Thanks, that's kind of what I figured, but wasn't positive. I know a lot of folks swear by brassicas, but this may have cured me from planting it for a while. Clover and cereal grains seemed to be much more appetizing to my herd.
