Been hunting with a decoy and every now and then, you space off and your decoy startles you? Just happened to me... sitting here thinking and I seen my decoy out of the corner of my eye and thought "oh crap a deer... oh wait"

A squirrel, bird or a "corner of the eye" glimpse of an object may spook a deer for no reason. They are the most paranoid animal in the woods after all.

They fell out, but were not on the string after I let the bow back down. I put new nocks on them, and they fit just fine. I am thinking there was some sort of crack in them and they split in half.
