F.Y.I My buddy called the Iowa DNR today and was told, if we have written permission from the Iowa resident tag holder to transport the deer home to Michigan, we're legal. If he was told wrong, can someone tell me where I can find it in writing, one way or the other? Thanks

Iowa DNR doesn't seem to let out the numbers of the N/R sales out till nearly the next hunting season. I too am lucky enought to have free land and a place to stay, so the higher price is well worth the monster buck hunt! This year will be 8 out of the last 9 years I've been in Iowa heaven!

I live in Michigan and we can use two-ways. I understand that we don't drive like we do in Iowa, but to me it's a safety thing! Isn't worth a human life more than a few deer that we might get because of a two-way radio?
