Went to my stand yesterday afternoon and to my dissapointment I found one of the 2 shooters ive been watching this season dead and coyotes got to his back half...not sure exactly what the cause no wounds I caoild see n looked healthy all season..maybe combo of exhausttion from rut n extreme...
Ive been out everyday for the last 3 days and had hs buck and doe estrus out and a drag line, with no intrest to the deer. I even had a buck walk right by the estrus drag I had hanging on a scrape. Tonight I tried hs 2 hot does on a drag but the only activity was the opposite direction....anyone...
Ive been out rattling the last 2 days and only brought a button buck in yesterday morning. Im going out tonight sitting on a hillside oak/pine transition, with the little rattling success im wondering if a buck or doe decoy would work better, every buck ive seen had his nose to the ground
Anyone had any success taking mature bucks while bow hunting scrapes? I caught a vid of this buck the night after this scrape was made he also tore up a 6" dia locust tree by it. Its right by some tall grass the does a bedding in.I just dont know if I should move my stand to this site or not to...
