Got this guy on Saturday. Was in stand all of about 30 min. Saved this spot for the rut and it paid off. Hit the horns together and grunted and brought him in the area. Turned "the can" over and brought him closer. He came in right under the tree and was smelling the estrous I had sprayed. He peed and scraped right on the spot and and continued out to about 7 yards where I nailed him. Had planned a long weekend and there was a touch of ground shrinkage, but with a baby on the way I should be thankful for the time I had. I hope my bro can get a big one in the dirt in this area now.
