I bet you could build it for around $700. I always see steel on craigslist for dirt cheap that would cut cost down.

You might be able to get used corrugated steel/tin from farmers who have torn down a shed, etc. It won't be as nice looking as the one in this thread...but it would potentially be cheap and it would be sturdy.
