My Son AJ shot the 8pt Buck on the second drive of the first day. Things slowed down so we went to southern Iowa for the 10pt buck Terry shot this is is last year here in Iowa before he goes overseas so it was cool he shot a nice one. The story is cool also we were driving to another hunting spot when we spotted two bucks standing along a wooded draw. We asked around to find out who owned the land and talked to the farmer for permission and as luck would have it he let us. Don't be afraid to ask we get turned down plenty but there is always a chance and respect thier property he almost didn't let us because of past experiences with hunters that didn't respect his land and wishes.
