2004 Iowa Buck

Even though I forgot to take my picture with my Lonewolf stand, you can mentally put it into the picture. I just plan forgot in the excitement.

Had a great time again in Iowa. This buck came out one morning and stood broadside to lick a branch long enough for me to range him at 45 yards and let the air out of him. Mighty kind of him I thought. He went about 60 yards and crashed down into a creek bottom. Funny how hearing that crashing sound makes you smile and jump around in your stand.

He has 9 points and a very crooked nose, but ugly or not I'm very happy to have him.
